I am in the process of writing a newsletter for my own art practice covering this very topic. I came across your informative article during my research. I was inspired to write my article after receiving some very unpleasant message in a Facebook group (supposedly for artists supporting artists) telling me that I was not an artist and just because I paint every day doesn't make me one. I disagree but having sold over 200 pieces I think my customers would have a different view!
